At Home Garden Organizer, we stand behind the structural integrity and functionality of our home storage and outdoor living furniture. This Return and Refund Policy clearly outlines the conditions, responsibilities, and timelines for returning an item and receiving a refund. Please review these terms carefully to ensure compliance with our return requirements.
Return Window & Eligibility
We accept returns within 30 days from the date of delivery.
To be eligible for a return and full refund, the item must be in brand new, unused, and completely un-assembled condition. Due to the physical nature of our furniture and storage racks, we enforce strict condition requirements to prevent secondary damage:
Zero Assembly Marks: The item must show absolutely no signs of having been put together. Any scratches on metal frames, stripped screws, or marks on wooden panels will immediately disqualify the return.
Original Hardware & Parts: All original screws, brackets, tools, and instruction manuals must be included and sealed in their original designated pouches.
Repacking Standards: The product must be returned using the exact original structural boxing and protective foam inserts. If an item is improperly repacked and sustains transit damage on its way back to us, the return will be rejected and no refund will be issued.
How to Initiate a Return
IMPORTANT WARNING: Do not send any items back to our address (40 SUNOL ST, SAN JOSE, CA, 95126, USA) without contacting us first.
Returns sent without prior authorization will not be tracked, accepted, or refunded. To initiate the return process, you must follow these steps:
State the clear reason for your return. If you are reporting a damaged or defective item, you must attach clear photographs showing the issue and the condition of the exterior packaging.
Once reviewed, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and provide specific instructions for shipping the item back to our designated returns address.
Return Shipping Costs
The responsibility for return shipping costs is determined by the reason for the return:
Store Responsibility: If the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., you received a defective item, a severely damaged component, or the wrong product entirely), we will cover 100% of the return shipping costs. We will provide a prepaid shipping label alongside your RMA.
Customer Responsibility: If the return is due to a change of mind, ordering the wrong size, color preference, or any other reason not related to a product defect, the customer is strictly responsible for covering all return shipping fees. We highly recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot be held liable for return packages lost in transit.
Restocking Fees
We value transparency in our pricing and policies. Provided your item is returned in full compliance with the eligibility requirements stated above, we guarantee a $0.00 Restocking Fee. You will not be charged hidden processing fees for returning an item in brand new condition.
Refund Process & Timeline
Once your return is received at our returns address, please allow up to 3 business days for processing. Returns that do not meet the eligibility requirements outlined above may not qualify for a refund.
Once your return is reviewed and approved, a refund will be processed immediately to your original method of payment. Please be aware that depending on your financial institution, it generally takes an additional 5-10 business days for the credited funds to officially post to your bank account or credit card statement.
Order Cancellations & Fraud Prevention
Order Cancellations: If you need to cancel your order, you must contact us at [email protected] within 12 hours of purchase. Because we process orders quickly to ensure prompt delivery, any cancellation requests made after this 12-hour window cannot be accommodated. The order will proceed through standard fulfillment, and you will need to follow the normal return process once the item is delivered.
Fraud Prevention: We reserve the right to refuse refunds, cancel orders, and ban future purchases in cases of suspected fraudulent activity. This includes, but is not limited to, returning items that have been used, altered, or intentionally swapped with different products.
